I write essays, features, and flash nonfiction for a variety of magazines and anthologies, including AFAR, Brevity, Guernica, Electric Lit, Harvard Review, The Iowa Review, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Ms. and Paste. I’m currently at work on my first book, living and working in Seattle, where I offer courses and private editing at Hugo House and online.
